As many of you know I have been a teacher of "A Course In Miracles" for over 20 years and I was immersed in spirituality and energy-work many years before that. I am only 40 years of age and I want to share the evolution of where mastering "A Course In Miracles" is taking us. We are all balancing two worlds and we are attempting to forgive every aspect to liberate us from the dream one. Over the past year I have been exploring speaking without my ego and thoughts being present. It has been growing more clear and profound, and this opening became possible because of my death experience. I would like to share how ACIM regards channeling.
The Course points to a living unity where one Voice replaces private judgment. It assures that the presence we share is what speaks when we are willing. It describes the vision that precedes full remembrance in this way. "The Face of 'Christ' has to be seen before the memory of 'God' can return. The Face of 'Christ' is the great symbol of forgiveness. It is salvation. It is the symbol of the real world." When I look with this vision I am no longer defending differences and the mind relaxes into what is shared. Forgiveness becomes simple and practical defined as the surrender of the ability to discern differences. In that surrender the one Mind gently shines through me rather than from me.
The Course also explains why this guidance may sound like a Voice and feel like a loving Guide. "He seems to be a Voice, for in that form He speaks 'God's' Word to you. He seems to be a Guide through a far country, for you need that form of help." This is not performance. It is service to the shared Self. In the spirit of that service the Workbook reminds us. "'God' calls to them through you. He needs your voice to speak to them." When I consent to be transparent the message carries its own certainty and peace. I lend my cadence and breath while "God" lends the meaning.
This unity is our identity now, not a distant reward. "Every Child of 'God' is one in 'Christ'." As perception yields to knowledge love extends of itself and sharing becomes the natural overflow of being what we are. In that recognition channeling is simply cooperation with reality. I step aside from the ego's commentary and allow the one Center to speak for Itself. Nothing real is lost. Everything real is revealed. My ability to step aside in this way was catalyzed by my death experience which opened a stable willingness to let the Wholly Spiritual Universe speak without interference.
